When White Americans Tell Nothing But The Truth

Every now and then an American journalist, educator or politician will tell the whole truth about how white supremacist attitudes and actions have wreaked havoc on people of color.
A recent example of that extremely rare truth-telling was given by Lawrence O’Donnell, host of MSNBC’s “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell.” With clear, precise, blunt language, he explained in thorough detail how Europeans invaded and took control of a land that for many centuries had been the home of what are now called Native Americans. I once saw a flyer pasted on a government building in Washington, DC, stating, “We (the indigenous people) have been fighting against illegal immigration since 1492.”

O’Donnell was speaking in support of descendants of those people who right now in the 21st Century are fighting efforts by European Americans to take some of the small amount of land that they still own in order to advance their economic interests. A second case in which a European American tells the truth about his people’s track record of brutality when dealing with people from other racial, ethnic and nationality groups. Those who are surprised or shocked about what is currently happening in Europe vis-à-vis the Muslim refugees wouldn’t be if they had read a column written by European American military analyst Ralph Peters in 2006. The following is just a part of what Peters wrote about his fellow Whites:

“The notion that continental Europeans, who are world champion haters, will let the impoverished Muslim immigrants they confine to ghettos take over their societies and extend the caliphate from the Amalfi Coast to Amsterdam has it exactly wrong. The endangered species isn’t the “peace loving” Europeans lolling in his or her welfare state, but the continent’s Muslim immigrants and their multi-generation descendants – who were foolish enough to imagine that European would share their toys … “Don’t let Europe’s current round of playing pacifist dress up fool you. This is the continent that perfected genocide and ethnic cleansing – the happy-go-lucky slice of humanity that brought us such recent hits as the Holocaust and Srebrenica … When Europeans feel sufficiently threatened – even when the threat is concocted nonsense – they don’t just react, they over-react with stunning ferocity.

“One of their more human (and frequently employed) techniques has been ethnic cleansing … Far from enjoying the prospect of taking over Europe by having babies, Europe’s Muslims are living on borrowed time … When Europeans feel sufficiently provoked and threatened – a few serious terrorist attacked – could do it – Europe’s Muslim will be lucky to be deported.”
O’Donnell and Peters deserve props for telling the truth and nothing but the truth about the white supremacist attitudes and actions of Europeans and people of European descent.
