SENATE MAJORITY LEADER “MOSCOW MITCH” McCONNELL Evidence In Latham Case

Joe Scarborough of the MSNBC TV Morning Joe show, named Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell “Moscow Mitch.”  McConnell, blocked a Democrat sponsored election security bill which would require each state to have paper ballots in addition to electronic voting as a safe guard against voter hacking.  This suggests that McConnell is working in tandem with Russia rather than for our nation.

McConnell has blocked a series of election-security bills; including the bill requiring campaigns to report to the FBI any offers of foreign assistance.  Robert Mueller’s report, the FBI director’s comments before Congress, and the DNI findings, and Muller himself, states that Russia is interfering with our elections.  Yet McConnell failed to allow bills that will help to stop them to be brought to the floor for a vote.

In his defense McConnell says that running elections is the responsibility of states and localities and the Federal Government should not interfere.  Most Democrats feel that Mitch is using that excuse to hold up bills and not put them on the floor to protect Donald Trump in his corruption rampage.  “Moscow Mitch” is doing nothing in the Senate to get bills passed that help and support the majority of America’s people.

It seems the cover has been peeled off “Moscow Mitch” and Americans are finding he may be more destructive to America than Trump.  McConnell is up for reelection in Kentucky in 2020.  His approval rating in Kentucky so far is 36 percent.  Like he did in the last Senate race for reelection, I’m sure he has a dirty trick or two up his sleeve.  I hope the Democrats realize that he will do anything to win reelection and they will go all out to defeat him in Kentucky.

The Democrats are focused on beating Trump in 2020, but their primary focus should be beating McConnell and taking over the Senate.  If the democrats beat Trump and lose to McConnell they still will not have control because the Senate will block everything they try to pass.  If the Democrats win the Senate and lose to Trump they will be able to impeach him the next term. 

It seems the name “Moscow Mitch” is befitting for McConnell because since Trump’s election he has done nothing to stop Trump’s lawlessness.  He seems to be working with the Russians to keep Trump in power.  He is the key person who could harness Trump’s lawless behavior.  One reason he is so indebted to Trump is because his wife Elaine Chao, is Trump’s Secretary of Transportation and is as corrupt as Trump.   McConnell is so pompous until he dares the House of Representatives to impeach Trump by saying he would not prosecute the impeachment in the Senate.   Wow!  It’s time to start impeachment procedures against “Moscow Mitch”!
