Black-owned Firm Builds Official App For New African-American Museum

WASHINGTON, DC
If you can’t get to DC to visit the Smithsonian’s’ new National Museum of African-American History and Culture (NMAAHC), a new APP provides information about the museum and help visitors and as users. Clearly Innovative (CI), one of the Washington, D.C. area’s leading digital and business solutions companies, built and launched the official mobile App for the new museum that opened Saturday, September 24, 2016.
“We are proud, honored and excited to be working with Smithsonian National Museum of African-American History and Culture on a mobile solution for the museum,” said Clearly Innovative CEO and Founder Aaron Saunders “As an African-American owner of a DC based technology company I could not have dreamed of a more meaningful project to be a part of. #ApeoplesJourney,” he added.
The App can be found as NMAAHC in Google Play and Apple ITunes . It is available in English, French and Spanish. As the official mobile vendors for the museum, Clearly Innovative created a cross platform mobile solution to enhance the museum experience. While it does not duplicate the actual visitation experience it does provide information about exhibits and key features of the museum’s location and its architecture. CI also designed the initial maps to be used for the museum opening.
Saunders sees the firm’s creation of the NMAAHC app as another project that fits Clearly Innovative’s mission to serve the community through its products and education initiatives.
Founded in 2009, Clearly Innovative is a minority-owned digital solutions provider headquartered in Washington D.C. The firm develops highly integrated, web and mobile solutions for startups and large enterprises.
