Affordable Care Enrollment Is Underway
NORFOLK
The 2019 Health Insurance Market Place enrollment period for Virginians started November 1 at Norfolk Norview Community Center with an Enrollment Fest. Virginians could sign up or renew their health care coverage under the Affordable Care Act (ACA/Obamacare), learn about the coverage options and get free healthcare screenings for HIV and Diabetes. Also, thousands of Virginians can now access the ACA since that the state has expanded Medicaid to include low-income Virginians. This year’s enrollment period will run until December 15. Their coverage will begin January 1.
There will be a Mega Holiday Health Insurance Market Place enrollment fest December 14-15 at the Hampton Roads Center. For future enrollment tests in the region and more information call (757) 287-0277. Or you can go to www.celebratehealthcare.net.
