“The 6th annual Daniel’s Blessings Springtime Tea” was held April 30, 2016 at Towne Point Club in Norfolk. Each guest was asked to bring a Barbie Doll to assist with gifts to inner city and Haitian girls. Executive Director of Daniel’s Blessings Foundation, Candy Hayes hosts this annual event to recognize community organizations that mentor and provide support to youth in Hampton Roads. The foundation also provides much needed tuition, uniforms, equipment and toys, to children in Haiti. They plan to make their sixth trip there in October, 2016.
