Inspirational Message: All Believers Have Access to the Supernatural Power of God!

God’s power within each of us is greater than we can imagine and will bring out the best in us. The letter of Paul to the Ephesians was written while he was imprisoned in Rome around 62 AD. For hundreds of years, Ephesus was a port city where different people of the world met and mingled. Paul was writing to people of different multi-cultural, ethnic and national backgrounds.

In this book we see Paul speaking to people, especially believers, who were rich in the great knowledge of Jesus Christ yet living as beggars only because they were ignorant of their wealth! What kind of wealth did they possess?

They did not realize that Christians have heavenly “Bank Accounts” filled with acceptance, redemption, forgiveness, wisdom, love the seal of the Holy Spirit and every spiritual blessing! This letter may have been written to the Ephesians, but is useful to all believers then and now. Paul’s prayer for Spiritual insight addressed his faith in the Lord and his love for all believers.

Paul continued by telling of his prayers for all of us, for our wisdom from God and of our knowledge of Him, that our minds be enlightened so that we will know what is the hope of His calling which included the riches of His inheritance among the saints. Let us never forget how Paul prayed for the immeasurable greatness of His power to us who believe according to the working of His unlimited strength (Ephesians 1: 15-19).

Finally, let us be strengthened by God in all phases of our lives. In what other helpful ways does Paul advise us? Along with the Ephesians, Paul left us with noteworthy prayers, advice for living a new and better life in Christ, family life educational rules and by all means, Paul left strategies for combating the tactics of Satan. This is why we need the full armor of God. Our struggles are real and not easy and they take work and require commitments in our pursuits of peace and unity. Let us continue seeking God’s motivation for courageous actions!
