The Tidewater Alumni Chapter of Virginia State University held its annual scholarship luncheon Saturday (April 23) at the Chesapeake Convention Center. The keynote speaker was newly minted VSU President Dr. Makola M. Abdullah, the 14th President of the Historically Black, Land-Grant University in Chesterfield County.
