Registered voters get excited about the presidential, governor’s and congressional elections, but there are other elections just as important such as school board positions. Therefore, on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, I encourage registered Norfolk voters to get out and vote in the Norfolk City School Board election.
I had the opportunity of talking to a very impressive young man, Ronel L. Brewer, candidate for Ward 3, who is genuine in helping youth become future leaders of tomorrow, someone who has the students’ and teachers’ best interest at heart; someone who believes in making teachers a priority and allowing them to become the community’s greatest resource and feeling appreciated. Being a Norfolk native I’m hopeful to see a candidate with strength and fortitude get on school board.
Ronel L. Brewer will be an asset to the Norfolk City School Board Ward 3 because he is a career teacher, contributing author, 2X Steve Harvey Best Teacher Finalist, a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity and a graduate of Elizabeth City State University.
Mr. Brewer currently teaches in the Virginia Beach School System; he lives in Ward 3 with his wife and children and has lived in that Ward for 15 years.
As a Norfolk native, I encourage everyone who lives in Ward 3 to get out and cast your vote for Ronel L. Brewer.
You Won’t Regret It!
