Sigma Gamma Rho Partners With Area Organizations For Community Service Projects

NORFOLK
Participating in “International Days of Service” of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., the Norfolk Alumnae Chapter held two community service events back to back.
On December 9th, the chapter partnered with Samaritan House, Virginia Beach, for the “Soles for Little Souls” event. Over 100 pairs of shoes and accessories for children of all ages were donated to the non-profit facility.
On January 19th, the chapter, in partnership with Parents in Need, Hampton Roads, held a baby shower for 21 expectant or new mothers at the Great Bridge Presbyterian Church, Chesapeake. Essential items were donated by chapter members to ensure the mothers were prepared to welcome their “bundles of joy.”
