Rebecca’s Well: Part II – The Need For The Wilderness

by Dr. Rebecca R. Rivka

(Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.) Tomorrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea. (Numbers 14:25) KJV Wilderness experiences can be defined further as seasons of misunderstandings, suffering, shame, grief and disappointments; Times that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life. • Black bats so we can hang tough when the going gets rough.
• We are given owl eyes to see the hand of God as He guides us along life’s way.
• Hind’s feet so we can climb high mountains trying to get home.
