Oct. 7: Sen. Lionell Spruill To Keynote Norfolk NAACP Luncheon

NORFOLK
The Norfolk Branch of the NAACP is preparing to host its 60th Annual Freedom Fund Luncheon on Saturday, October 7, 2017, 12 p.m, at the Murray Center Taste ’N See, 455 East Brambleton Avenue, Norfolk, 23510. This year’s theme is “Steadfast and Immovable,” and will feature the Honorable State Senator Lionell Spruill, Sr. as the keynote speaker.
The afternoon will be filled with festivities, presentation of awards and special recognitions, entertainment, tributes and fine dining.
This event is the branch’s annual fundraiser which sets the tone for the upcoming fiscal year and the impact it makes on the group’s contribution to the community.
Individual banquet tickets are available at $45 per person or $450 for a table of ten. Persons may also place an ad in the souvenir journal.
