NSU Wins Homecoming With 24-14 Victory Over Morgan State
Norfolk State (2-6, 1-4 MEAC) won its homecoming game with a 24-14 victory over Morgan State. Morgan committed 4 turnovers, while NSU had just one. The Spartans were only penalized 4 times for 45 yards.

NORFOLK
Norfolk State (2-6, 1-4 MEAC) won its homecoming game with a 24-14 victory over Morgan State. Morgan committed 4 turnovers, while NSU had just one. The Spartans were only penalized 4 times for 45 yards. NSU QB Greg Hankerson completed 17 of 30 passes 219 yards and 3 TDs. The Spartans had 81 yards rushing. NSU kicker Cameron Marouf kicked field goals of 27 and 20 yards.
Before the game, 21 seniors were recognized on the field. The team currently has 5 juniors. Actor and comedian JB Smoove, an NSU alumnus, who portrays the character Leon on the HBO show “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” was on the field during the presentation of a $50,000 check from Lowes to the University.
