NORFOLK
Norfolk State University was the setting for a debate between incumbent Democratic U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine and Republican challenger Hung Cao on Wednesday, October 2. Before a packed audience, the two presented their views and policies during a live televised one hour debate moderated and recorded by WAVY-TV-10. Kaine is running for his third term since 2013, after serving as Virginia’s governor from 2006 to 2010. Cao is a U.S. Navy special operations veteran. You may watch the debate at wavy.com.
