November 21: STOP Agency To Observe 50th Anniversary
HAMPTON ROADS
The STOP Organization-Hampton Roads will hold its 50th Anniversary Luncheon Celebration on Saturday, November 21, 2015 from 12 to 2:30 p.m. at the Chesapeake Marriott. STOP’s 5th Executive Director , the Hon. State Senator L. Louise Lucas will be the keynote speaker.
Since 1965, STOP has addressed problems and challenges facing low to moderate income persons in Southeastern Virginian. The agency has contributed millions of dollars educating children, assisting persons and families achieve self-sufficiency, and improving the economic vitality of the communities it serves.
During the event, persons who have impacted the community along with STOP will be honored.
Tickets are $50 for individuals, $500 for a table of 10. Sponsorships are available.
