November 10: Shaw University To Host HBCUgrow Conference
RALEIGH, N.C.
Dr. Ivory A. Toldson, executive director of the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), will be the keynote speaker for HBCUgrow at a November 10 conference on leadership, marketing/branding and enrollment management. The full day event will be held at Shaw University in Raleigh.
HBCUgrow is a consortium of people dedicated to helping HBCUs grow enrollment and alumni giving, and tackle the changing landscape of marketing challenges. HBCUgrow helps by offering a community of like-minded professionals sharing knowledge and inspiring HBCUs to grow.
The event will also feature Dr. Jeffrey Robinson of Rutgers University; Laura Jack of Howard University; Dr. Michael J. Sorrell, president of Paul Quinn College; Dwayne Shorter from Huston-Tillotson; Dr. Kim Long of Wiley College; Dr. Tashni Dubroy, president of Shaw University; and Valonda Calloway of NBC’s My Carolina Today.
