New Recording Studio Opens In Virginia Beach
VIRGINIA BEACH
NY/LA Recording Studio will hold its grand opening ribbon cutting ceremony from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, October 21, 2017. The recording and production services company is located at 5660 Indian River Road, Ste. 125, Virginia Beach, VA 23464.
Johnny Capers Jr. is the president and CEO of NY/LA Recording Studio and head of the company’s music publishing and recording company ClassicPak and Cape Records. The opening will feature a tour of the office suite and soundproof recording and rehearsal studios. Studios can be reserved for private recording sessions with ProTools production services twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Music lessons will also be available in small classes and by appointment.
“My goal is to offer professional recording studio and services that’s the same as in New York or Los Angeles. Professional,” said Capers. “This area is perfect and affordable for developing artists as well professionals trying to keep recording cost down.”
A vocalist, trumpet player and bandleader, Capers has performed around the world with such performers as Red Fox, Duke Ellington and Sarah Vaughn. He brings to the recording business years of experience in the entertainment industry appearing at such venues as the Village Vanguard, The Blue Note, The Palladium, Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, and the Apollo Theatre.
