NORFOLK
Norfolk State University Interim President Dr. Melvin Stith was joined by university, city and state officials for the groundbreaking ceremony on July 20 for a new residence hall complex. The new 193,424-square-foot residential facility is being constructed by S.B. Ballard Construction and will include 740 beds for first-year students. It also will house offices, conference room, fitness room, movement/yoga studio, multipurpose room, group study space, community kitchen, theater and an open gaming space.
