Men’s Health: Men’s Health Network Unveils New Website For Testicular Cancer

WASHINGTON
To kick off Testicular Cancer Awareness Month, Men’s Health Network (MHN) is launching a new website to promote organizations that are engaged in testicular cancer awareness and to help educate people about risk factors, warning signs, and treatment options for the disease.
Testicular Cancer Awareness Month.com offers videos, research articles, and awareness activities to turn a difficult-to-discuss problem into an interactive and easier-to-approach learning experience.

Testicular cancer has the one of the highest survival rates, if found early. However, it’s still the most common cancer among men aged between 15 and 35 years old. That’s what makes prevention techniques and overall awareness critically important.
“Testicular cancer is a very serious but very treatable cancer,” said Brandon Leonard, Director of Strategic Initiatives at Men’s Health Network. “The key is reaching younger men who often don’t receive as many cancer prevention messages and educating them about the importance of early detection.”

Along with testicular cancer awareness organizations like Men’s Health Initiative, Testicular Cancer Canada, and others, Testicular Cancer Awareness Month.com has links to several resource centers that provide basic facts about the disease, different treatment options, and in-depth research provided by medical experts and advisors.
The site also includes a collection of videos devoted to outreach and education, including entertaining PSAs from Marvel Comics’ “Deadpool” and the British model Rhian Sugden.

Men’s Health Network (MHN) is an international non-profit organization whose mission is to reach men, boys, and their families where they live, work, play, and pray with health awareness messages and tools, screening programs, educational materials, advocacy opportunities, and patient navigation.
