Inspirational Message: Remember the Power of Praising God

When the heartaches of life crowd in on us and we are feeling extremely overwhelmed and undoubtedly forgotten, it is important to recall all He has done for us! As we remember His goodness, we find the encouragement to trust Him now and also in future experiences, never ever give up.
Somehow as we make our way on the journey of life, it is easy to forget places, people, and events that have been important to us along the way. Time passes and even yesterday fades and we become obsessed with the concerns of the moment.
This can happen and we can forget just how good God has been to us. How do spiritual champions survive? What happens when we put ourselves in the presence of God’s power?
Perhaps David remembered and wrote, “Bless the Lord O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord O my soul and forget not all His benefits” (Psalms 103: 1-2),
We can always ask God to sustain us. We can calmly move forward in our work for Him. Like the Israelites, we are servants of the God of heaven and earth! Praise God, our Maker because His power enables us to follow His will for our lives. Thank and praise God for His love and forgiveness.
God’s Spirit gives the power to our witness. Praise God for His power is real. He continually watches over us and without Him, we cannot do anything. Let us look at Joshua as a God-fearing champion of faith as he challenged the people of Israel to serve the One who-had been so good to them, (Joshua 24). Why not involve our families? “Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15). With unlimited praise for God, let us continue by renewing our commitment to serve Him!
