Inspirational Message: Let Us Serve Others with God’s Strength!

Wherever needed, God will provide strength in all situations so that He may be praised through Jesus Christ. His power and glory will be known forever. Is it possible that we can suffer for Christianity? It may not be surprising to find ourselves in painful trials. When strange things happen to us that we cannot explain, rejoicing in the goodness of the Lord may be an answer to our anxieties and for us to be overjoyed when His glory is revealed! Only with God’s supportive help can our problems be solved.
If any of us can endure a painful trial or insults because of the name of Christ, God will bless us for casting our burdens on Him instead of handling suffering our way! The Spirit of God’s glory will rest on us. What can we do to make our lives spiritually better? Praise God that Christianity is the center of our lives. If we suffer because of our Christian commitment, we are to accept it cheerfully according to 1 Peter. Be proud to be a follower of Jesus Christ. As we behold the incredible strength of God, let us remember the message from Him not to accommodate Satan in our thoughts or actions (Ephesians 4:7). Satan wants to destroy our hope in the Lord, our Christian relationships, our progress and our faith to trust Him and to love people.
Let us continue to depend on the wisdom of God. Unexpected events occur daily, but the Holy Spirit within us will keep us pursuing worthy counsel as we try to serve others. We must work endlessly to have our lives controlled by joy. When we have joy in the Lord, the joy becomes our strength (Nehemiah 8:1). No earthly problem should take away that kind of joy. It becomes the most important thing in our lives, and we are able to remain strong because of it, in the midst of any crisis.
As Christians we get our strength by praying to God before working in the world, many times, with unbelievers. Sometimes we are unable to stick to our commitments when life gets tough. With changes in our lifestyles, we can schedule regular times with God in prayer and Bible study while guarding the joy of the Lord. In 1 Peter, much is said about suffering. He shows us how to serve the Lord, share our faith and hard testings as the Lord’s followers. Peter has let us know so much about the power of God and about the life and death of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Peter lets us know that Christians can have hope for the future!
