Inspirational Message: The Holy Spirit Imparts Power to Us!

The Holy Spirit gives us strength when battles of life leave us weak and somewhat drained. Isaiah 40 explains with words of comfort for God’s people; therefore le us keep on walking, running and soaring in hope. We can read Isa. 40: 29-31 with faith in God.

Isaiah 40 explains with words of comfort for God’s people; therefore le us keep on walking, running and soaring in hope. We can read Isa. 40: 29-31 with faith in God. How does God feel about our weaknesses? Should we hope to become spiritually stronger?

“He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength. Even the youth shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall; But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings on eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk and not faint.”

We can be physically and mentally drained by human relationships. The Holy Spirit can rejuvenate us. We must continue to encourage ourselves in the Lord. “Delight thyself in the Lord and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” (Psalms 37: 4)

Jesus promised that power would come to us through the Holy Spirit. In Acts 1:8, Jesus tells us that we shall receive power from the Holy Spirit and be witnesses unto the uttermost parts of the Earth!

Are we subject to a higher power? What does Paul tell us about the Holy Spirit’s power? In Romans 15, Paul says through prayer that God who gives us hope with complete happiness and peace because of our faith will include the power of the Holy Spirit to fill us with hope! Paul’s work as a missionary was centered around God’s kindness and his opportunities as a servant of Christ Jesus. Why was this possible? God did this so that the Holy Spirit could make the Gentiles into a holy offering, pleasing to Him. Paul taught how Christ worked miracles and wonders by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15: 16-20). How did Paul continue his missionary work? Repeatedly, Paul asked us to pray for faith, patience to live at peace with each other as we follow Christ and to praise God in all we do!
