This year’s pageant hopes to be one of the most exciting ever, in that, it will not Pageant founder Ms. Veronica A. Davis, who is known for promoting academics says, “It’s time that the focus of pageants moves from bathing suits to books. The pageants that I oversee in the seven cities will put emphasis on academics. Contestants must be able to provide letters of references from their teachers and principals write and essay about their academics. For those who are home schooled letters from parents and the same essay. ”
The Little Miss Hampton pageant is open to girls 5 years of age and up, who are residents of Hampton and Langley, receiving academics in the public, private or home school settings. The selection process for receiving a title is done by submitting a completed registration, photo, an essay on academics, letters of references for school/parents, talent, beauty, and beachwear.
Those who register for the pageant will be taking a step towards being a part of what will grow to become one of the most prestigious pageants in Virginia.

Next year she will host Miss Hampton Roads where all the winners will return to compete for the top title and a cash prize.
