Congressman Bobby Scott once again hosted Virginia Democrats at his Labor Day Cookout. The annual event occurred on Monday, September 1, 2025 at his family’s home in Newport News, Virginia, from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.
The Scott Labor Day Cookout serves as a high profile platform for political candidates seeking office this November. Congressman Scott uses this occasion to thank the many hundreds of friends and supporters who have assisted him throughout his political career. The Cookout also serves as the unofficial opening of the 2025 general election campaign season.
