FORT BELVOIR, VA
First Lady Michelle Obama, Dr. Jill Biden, and His Royal Highness Prince Harry of the United Kingdom joined forces on October 28 at the Fort Belvoir Field House to introduce the Invictus Games to the U.S. The games allow wounded military men and women to represent their countries in athletic contests. This year’s games will be televised from Disney World. The first Invictus Games held last year involved over 400 competitors from 13 nations competing in London.
