Class Will Instruct On Using Art To De-Stress

PORTSMOUTH
Come  Celebrate the Life of Local Artist/Musician Michael Artrell Barber and National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, at 1 p.m. July 9 at the Portsmouth Public Library, Churchland Branch, 4934 High St. West Portsmouth. Participants will  learn healthy ways to de-stress with art and music at this event.

Crystal Barber,  Michael’s mother will talk about her advocacy and her now deceased  son’s personal story dealing with depression and helping others cope with this debilitating disease.
Participants will be given instructions on  basic drawing lessons from local artist and professionals. Art supplies and refreshments will be furnished.
