Extra! Extra! Extra! Tidewater Bridge Unit’s “Grade A” Tournament starts Friday, September 16. The TBU will host this competition at the beautiful Hyatt Place Chesapeake (Greenbrier), on September 16, 17, and 18, 2016. The hotel address is 709 Eden Way North, Chesapeake, VA. Learn to play bridge and have fun while you are learning! New bridge classes are starting soon; be a part of a winning pair! TBU is offering affordable bridge classes at the Berkley Senior Center. Each course is six weeks long and the cost is $30. From 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., there will be instruction (lecture); from 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., students will work with practice hands/deals. A minimum of three (3) students is required to run a class. The Basic Bridge class is in session on Tuesday mornings at 9:15 a.m. Sign-up sheets are available for our upcoming classes.
