Bridge Corner: October 29, 2015
Hello and welcome to the Tidewater Bridge Unit (TBU). Great News!!! TBU is sponsoring a beginner, intermediate, and advance bridge class at the Berkley Senior Center. The Education Committee has been busy making sure that there are enough certified bridge teachers and the committee chairperson has created a schedule of classes being offered:
Basic Bridge I – Introduction to Bridge
Basic Bridge II
Two over One (2/1 Game Force) – Intermediate
Conventions and Beyond
Play of the Hand and Defense – Advance
Each class is six (6) weeks long and the cost is $30. From 9-10 a.m., there will be instruction (lecture); from 10 a.m. to 10:45, students will work with practice deals. A minimum of three (3) students is required to run a class and the projected start-date for classes is November 10, 2015. Don’t be left out – signup NOW!
