Coaches, High School and NSU Players Help Out At Chesapeake Sheriff’s Football Camp

CHESAPEAKE
The 8th annual Children Today, Leaders Tomorrow Youth Football Camp hosted by Chesapeake Sheriff Jim O’Sullivan and the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office engaged approximately 150 children this year between the ages of 10 and 14. During the free 3-day camp (June 28th- July 1st), youth learned football skills and run drills from Coach Cadillac Harris and other Chesapeake middle and high school coaches.
The coaches were joined by NSU Offensive Line players, and football players from local Chesapeake high schools. The goal of the annual camp is to teach children football skills inside the lines, and life skills outside the lines. It also helps keep children active in the summer months.
