Bridge Corner: November 12, 2015

Hello and welcome to the Tidewater Bridge Unit (TBU).

Great News!!!  TBU is offering two intermediate bridge classes starting mid November, 2015.  The first class, Two over One (2/1 Game Force) will start on Tuesday, November 17 at 9:30 a.m.  The second class, Conventions and Beyond, will start on Wednesday, November 18 at 9:30 a.m.  All classes will be held at the Berkley Senior Center.  Our Education Committee Chairperson, Lillye Holley, has done an excellent job of making sure that there are enough certified bridge teachers.

Each class is six (6) weeks long and the cost is $30.  From 9:30 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., there will be instruction (lecture); from 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., students will work with practice deals.  A minimum of three (3) students is required to run a class and the projected start-date for our SECOND 6-week session is mid January, 2016.  We have already started a sign-up sheet for classes in January.  Don’t be left out – signup NOW!
