Black Church
Shiloh Ministry In Action

NORFOLK
Shiloh Baptist Church in Norfolk decided to take yet another step to serve the community. “Project: Matching The Video with the Audio” is Phase I of the initiative to put into action what we talk about – helping those who are in need. The congregation, led by Pastor Keith I. Jones and the Prayer Ministry, collected over 500 pairs of socks for men, women and children.
They were recently distributed to Union Missions facility and Norfolk Community Services Board. This first phase will continue on a monthly basis to ensure many less fortunate members of the Norfolk community will have clean, dry socks all year long.
“Come In From The Cold” will begin February 5th. Homeless members of our community are invited to come in from the cold, have a warm beverage, snacks and simply relax for a period of time.
If you’d like to contribute or seek additional information, please contact Rev. Karen Jones at (757) 625-4367.
