According to The Huffington Post, there is a controversy stirring about Kraft’s new Milkbite. The so-called issue is surrounding the ad campaign for the new product. The ads chronicle the life of a cute, depressed Milkbite named Mel. He is part milk, part granola, and is struggling to find his place in life. Many equate his struggles to that of mixed-race people and they believe that the ad is based on their struggles. Is this really an exploitation of mulattos or is this overreach?
