Rebecca’s Well: Right-Brain Evangelism© PT. II

Applying Right-Brain Evangelism

Begin with salvation scriptures that are easily accepted and processed in the feminine Right Brain of love and compassion.

Lead the un-saved to see that Jesus, Himself, invites them:

“Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; For I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” (Mt. 1 1 :28-30)

Then lead them to see that persons who come to Jesus and receive Him as their personal Lord and Savior are given power to become the sons of God. (Jn I: 12)

Show in the Bible that God loves the sinner. “For God so loved the world.. .” (Jn 3: 16)

“… He that believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life …” (Jn 5:24)

Then as the Philippian jailor asked in Acts 16:31 …”Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved and thy house,

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Rom: 10:9)

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Rom. 10:13)

Now, go to the Left- Brain of masculine thought, logic, reason, law, analysis, competition, etc. Here scriptures can be accepted, ignored and/or rejected.

Begin in the Old Testament with Eccles 7:20 and show that “there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good and sinneth not.”

John the Baptist and Jesus came in the New Testament crying “repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand,” (Mt 3: 1-2) (Mt 4: 17)

Paul writes in Romans “… there is none righteous, no not one …” (Rom 3: 10-12) “All have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Rom 3:23)

“the wages of sin is death …” (Rom 6:23)

Clearly, scriptures in the Left-Brain show that the whole world is guilty before God.

Don’t stay stuck in Left-Brain’s sin and guilt. Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. God has made provisions for sinners in His Son.

First John 1:9 states, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us of all unrighteousness.”

Get smart! Use your Right-Brain that recognizes faith and grace. “For by grace are ye saved through faith …” (Eph 2:8)
