Snow White is a classic fairy tale written by the Brothers Grimm and published in 1812. Walt Disney gave us his definitive animated characters in 1937. And now a new Americanized Wild West musical version has been published. Jim Eiler, who wrote the book and lyrics, was raised in California and worked his college vacations in the resort area of Lake Tahoe. During this time the idea came to him to retell the story as a western musical comedy, taking place in the gold rush era of 1849.
