The annual Buckroe Beach Reggae Fest returns! This is an all ages event that brings the spirit on the islands to the peninsula featuring free live music, Caribbean food as well as vendor booths, sand soccer and a children's play area.
The city wants to
hear your ideas on the future use of the Wythe School property at 200 Claremont Avenue, which includes tennis courts, a playground and two baseball fields. The school was built in 1909 and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Carybrook Neighborhood Association has been hit by theft and needs some plant donations. Residents have been working for about a decade on beautifying Andrews Boulevard between Newton Road and Old Buckroe Road.
The City of Hampton is joining the City of Newport News and others to support a “Taking Back the Community Youth Summit” Saturday, May 4, from noon-4 p.m. at the Boys & Girls Club of the Greater Hampton Roads, 629 Hampton Avenue, Newport News.

FREE ADMISSION TO HISTORY MUSEUM FOR MILITARY

The Hampton History Museum, 120 Old Hampton Lane, is offering free admission to active and retired military and their families and half-price memberships during April.
It’s that time of year again…time for the Hampton Coliseum Spring Carnival. Open from May 23rd to June 2nd, the carnival is sure to have something for everyone. Take a leisurely ride on the giant Ferris wheel or get your adrenaline pumping on the Fire Ball!
