NATO Showcased In Annual Festival

NORFOLK
  NATO Festival  Norfolk NATO Festival (formerly known as the International Azalea Festival) will celebrate all 28 NATO Member Nations with its traditional Flag Raising, lively and colorful Parade of Nations and NATOFest all in Downtown Norfolk April 27 & 28 and all events free and open to the public.


    The Flag Raising will be held on Scope Plaza at 4:30 p.m. on Friday and will be a colorful display of anthems and flags representing each of the 28 member nations.  The Parade begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 28 with floats, marching bands, and festive groups to represent NATO’s member nations.  Then the Festival begins at 11 a.m. in Town Point Park with international entertainment, foods and beers.
