Bishop Sheard To Headline C.O.G.I.C. Regional Rally

On Friday April 6, 2018 at the Renaissance Portsmouth-Hotel & Conference Center, located at 425 Water Street, Bishop J. Drew Sheard of Detroit will be the keynote speaker at the 20th Anniversary of the International Youth Department East Region Youth Rally.

On Friday April 6, 2018 at the Renaissance Portsmouth-Hotel & Conference Center, located at 425 Water Street, Bishop J. Drew Sheard of Detroit will be the keynote speaker at the 20th Anniversary of the International Youth Department East Region Youth Rally. Auxiliary Bishop Marc Thomas serves as the East Regional President.

Bishop Sheard is the senior pastor of the 3,000 member Greater Emmanuel Institutional Church of God in Christ in Detroit, Michigan. Sheard is a member of the General Board of Bishops, his 2nd term on this prestigious board (of the top 12 elected Bishops) of the Churches of God in Christ, Inc. Worldwide. The Church of God in Christ is the largest African-American pentecostal denomination in the world, boasting over 25,000 pastors and 6 million members worldwide.

Bishop Sheard is married to the Grammy Award Winning Gospel Singer Karen Clark-Sheard, and is the father of Dove and Stellar Award Winning Gospel Singer Kierra “Kiki” Sheard, who is also a judge of the famed gospel singing competition Sunday’s Best airing on the BET Network and music producer J.Drew Sheard Jr. Bishop Sheard and his family were the stars of a reality show which aired on the BET Network. The reality show is titled “The Sheard‘s.”
